Q. Please tell us about your company's business, especially your business overseas.

 In the stainless steel bottle business, we will open the "Tiger Bottle Site", a Direct to Consumer site of Tiger Vacuum Bottles specializing in human rights, health, and environmental appeals, in North America in late February and launch the "Tiger Custom Bottle".

 Tiger Bottle's Custom Bottle is currently available in two models. First, the standard model comes in 11 colors and three sizes (350 mL, 500 mL, and 600 mL), and as for the spiral, there are two types each one-push and screw spirals, and a straw spiral (for 500 mL only) for a total of five types. In total, there are 143 ways to customize the bottle and the spiral.

 Next, the active model comes in seven colors and three sizes (400 mL, 600 mL, and 800 mL), and two types of spirals: a handle spiral and a cup spiral. There are a total of 42 ways to customize the bottles and spirals, so you can choose the one that best suits your needs and what you want to put in it most often.

 Each model and color has its own theme based on the "Four Promises", the sustainable policy of Tiger Vacuum Bottles, which expresses our desire to create products that are friendly to human rights, health, and the environment. Taking advantage of the characteristics of Direct to Consumer, which provides a direct link with customers, we will strive to enhance communication and create products and services that are friendly to the future of the earth. 



Q. How did you choose OPTI?

 Our Direct to Consumer business for North America will be managed by Tiger's headquarters in Japan as the main contact point. In the process of considering international tax and legal services, which are highly specialized, the following three issues were identified: 1) the need for international tax advisory services and support for tax registration and filing; 2) the need for legal advisory services for GDPR and CCPA personal information protection law; 3) global support, one-stop support for business promotion, and language issues (Japan will be the contact point). We contacted a number of companies and found that OPTI was able to provide comprehensive support to solve our issues, which led us to this relationship.

 For example, we could have sought help from individual consultants or legal experts to confirm the legal aspects of our business development destination, including the taxation system, but this would have been a hindrance to our business promotion, which requires a sense of speed, due to the need to explain the business aspects and reconsideration due to policy changes.

 In this respect, OPTI was able to provide us with immediate answers to some of the questions we had in the meeting before the request, which showed that they had a lot of experience in tax systems in various countries.

 On the legal side, we had to compete with other experts, but since delays in delivery directly affect the cost of handling the case, we comprehensively considered quality, cost, and delivery, and came to the conclusion that the best way to proceed with our business was to use OPTI as one-stop support. We received prompt and clear answers and instructions and were able to proceed with the legal work in a short period of time.

Q. Please tell us your aspirations for your future business and anything you would like to say to us.

 Our company will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2023. And as we work towards the next 100 years, we believe it is necessary to promote global expansion beyond our current business domains. We can't talk much about specific tactics and strategies, but we can say that we will provide users around the world with products and services that reflect our corporate policy based on human rights, health, and environmental considerations, as well as our core competence of thermal control technology, and our unique Tiger vacuum flask products and services. We would like to take on the challenge of "spreading happiness" together with our customers.
